Dinner is served from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Sunday at 157 East Rosemary Street, Chapel Hill, NC 27514. Better known as The Gathering Place / Alpha Pie.

The Rosemary Street Community Dinner, a meal provided by the Alpha Pie Community Kitchen.
Every Sunday, we’re serving food from the Alpha Pie window with the help of a team of volunteers. Every plate is provided free of charge to anyone who’s hungry.
For as long as there’s food in the kitchen, there will be food on the plates of our neighbors. These dinners are an intentional effort to strengthen community ties and provide a sense of comfort, dignity and safety in the simple act of sharing a meal.
The Community Dinner is multi-course, chef-driven, inclusive, and suits as many diets as we are able to accommodate on any given Sunday.

No restrictions, no limitations and no strings. By leveraging existing relationships with local suppliers and farmers, Alpha Pie is in a unique position to minimize food waste and maximize local impact by purchasing overstock from local agricultural efforts and putting previously unused food directly to the plates of the people who need it most.
Come have a meal with us sometime, get in touch if you want to help out, and we’ll see you on Sunday.
